RGCC Lab Testing
Oncotrace
- Purpose: Determines the origin of detected CTCs and tracks treatment response.
- Sample: 7-10 ml blood
- Use for: Identifying tumor origin, monitoring recurrence and monitoring therapeutic response to treatments.
Oncotrail
- Purpose: Monitors CTC levels for specific cancer types (prostate, breast, colon, lung).
- Sample: 10 ml blood
- It is used for disease monitoring after tumor site identification and to determine if the primary site is known before testing.
Onconomics Plus
- Purpose: Determines the best pharmaceutical and natural treatment options.
- Sample: 15-25 ml blood
- It is used for combined assessment of medical and natural treatments and used to create a year-long plan.
Immuneframe
- Purpose: Evaluate immune function and response to cancer.
- Sample: 15-25 ml blood
- It is used for immune system analysis, support strategies, and determination of whether the person is a candidate for vaccine therapy.
Note: Blood samples should be collected in RGCC-provided tubes, and results may take several weeks, depending on the test.
Array Comparative Hybridization (aCGH)
-
Purpose: Identifies the primary tumor origin through DNA analysis of circulating tumor cells (CTCs).
- Used if the cancer is of unknown origin
- Sample: Blood
- Turnaround: 3-4 weeks
- Use for: All cancer types
Imaging
PET Scan (Positron Emission Tomography): Primarily used to detect metabolic activity in tissues and organs.
- Commonly used for:
- Cancer detection and staging
- Monitoring cancer treatment response
- Neurological conditions (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease)
- Cardiovascular diseases (e.g., evaluating heart function)
Whole-Body MRI: Provides detailed anatomical images of soft tissues, organs, and bones without radiation.
- Commonly used for:
Detecting structural abnormalities
- Evaluating musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
- Screening for tumors or other abnormalities
- Monitoring chronic diseases like multiple sclerosis or arthritis
*PET scan is the preferred test for metastasis and is required before SOT infusion is approved.
