The fungus germinates in the living larva, kills and mummifies it, and then a dark brown stalk-like fruiting body which is a few centimeters long emerges from the corpse and stands upright. Doxycycline is an antibiotic that is used in the treatment of a number of types of infections caused by bacteria and protozoa. Frankincense oil is derived from the Boswellia sacra tree and trees of a similar species.
